Year-Long
Program II
Work at a more advanced level, while maintaining the “beginner’s mind” so essential to this process. Design your year to meet individual goals. Bring a quandary or a question. Experiment with the practice. Explore new applications. Examine important issues, such as: power dynamics, diverse modes of perception, and working in various contexts/environments. We will examine issues important to the practice — power dynamics,
working in various contexts/environments, and the “chest of drawers”
of ways to respond. As in Year-Long Program I each weekend will have a
different theme, such as: The Chest of Drawers; Dreams; Transference and
Power; The Senses, Sensuality and Sexuality; Body and World; Life Stages
and Endings. The weekends will include movement sessions, labs examining
the witnessing relationship, dialogue about the readings, experiments
with the practice, and time to bring questions/share experiences in the
process. Participants may, for example, present a case study, bring a
quandary or question from their practice outside this workshop, or explore new applications. Prerequisites
Place Dates Limited to 12. Apply by TBA for reduced tuition and to ensure
a place. Payment plans accepted. Financial aid packages available. Year-Long Program I Information
"I think you are fabulous facilitators. You create a safe and supportive container and somehow manage to make the work relevant to people from all sorts of different perspectives.” -a contemplative dance participant
