Winter Retreat in Contemplative Dance/Authentic Movement

Limited to 16 experienced participants
Prerequisite: CD/AM Week I or equivalent CD/AM workshops with us (approximately 30 hours of mentored moving and witnessing practice, readiness to move for longer sessions, and to maintain safe boundaries)
Poised in the moment, we listen. Being, in stillness and action, moves us.
Please join us for this weekend of Contemplative Dance/Authentic Movement in the quiet and comfort of winter. We offer this annual retreat in the spirit of rest, to take a break from our usual lives to refresh and regenerate. We'll also work with silence and sound, and invoke spiritual dimensions of Contemplative Dance/ Authentic Movement. We'll explore such practices as movers containing their experiences, silent witnessing and non-verbal forms of being in community. Together we will create spaciousness, permission and safety around all that moves us.
Tuition - Sliding Scale - Due with registration form by December 15th.

In Residence - Facility Fees, Single Room/Shared Bathroom and 5 Meals: $380
Commuter - Facility Fees, 3 meals (no breakfasts): $80
Sunday Lunch at Genesis (optional): $15
A note about meals:
In Residence meals include Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner, Sunday breakfast. Breakfast will be continental style.
Commuter meals include Friday dinner, Saturday lunch and dinner.
All participants are welcome to stay and have lunch together on Sunday at Genesis. This is not included in the weekend fees and is an extra $15.
To reserve your space: Submit the registration form and non-refundable tuition fees by December 15th. We will reserve your place only after both are received. Space is limited to 16 participants! Reserve your place at the 2024 Winter Retreat soon!

We know these may financially challenging times. Contact us if the fees present a problem.
Cancellation Policy: Tuition will be refunded if your space is filled by another participant or in special circumstances.
Winter Retreat 2024 Covid Protocols: We will require participants to confirm their negative rapid (Antigen) tests on the mornings of February 8, 9, and 10, and self-monitor for symptoms. Details on this to follow. We will keep you informed if our Covid protocols change.
